Cedar Creek Lower Trailhead

Start here for a three mile uphill hike to the upper trailhead. The total elevation gain is 790 feet.  Much of the lower trail follows the old highway through the juniper forest zone. Although juniper dominates the dry, south-facing slopes, you will enjoy willows, aspen and ponderosa pine too. Be sure to pick up a free brochure for the interpretive sites at either trailhead. The upper trailhead is located at the Cedar Pass Snow Park.
