Cedar Pass Snow Park

Cedar Pass Snow Park is a public ski resort, operating on a special-use permit, on the Modoc National Forest. The snow park is for people of all ages who enjoy skiing and snowboarding. Cedar Pass Snow Park is a community run, non-profit project that offers the warm, small town atmosphere reminiscent of the early days of skiing.

Cedar Pass Snow Park is nestled in the majestic Warner Mountains, a scenic 20 minute drive from Alturas, CA just off of Highway 299.

Relax and enjoy the unhurried, friendly atmosphere. The snow park has something for everyone; a bunny hill with a rope tow for beginners, and a T-bar for intermediate and advanced skiers who enjoy both freshly groomed and powder runs.

Nordic skiers are welcome to use the Cedar Pass Snow Park lodge and ski area in order to access the Cedar Creek Interpretive Trail and the surrounding meadow and backcountry terrain.

For more information, call 530-233-3323 (only open weekends during the snow season).
