Pit River Trailhead

Current Conditions

11/20/2024: Our trails crew has done a lot of work on this trail recently. Pit River Trail is clear to the first major rock outcrop next to the river, approximately 1.5 miles.

The newest developed recreation site on the Modoc National Forest. A new vault toilet was installed in October 2023 with more upgrades to come in 2024.
