Baker Campground
Baker Campground situated in a mixed conifer forest along the banks of the Stanislaus River. It is located at the junction of Highway 108 and Kennedy Meadow Road, about 27 miles from the Summit Ranger Station. There are 44 sites with a few doubles and 2 walk-in sites. The main road is paved; parking pads are dirt-surfaced. Each site has a table and a fire ring. Hydrants serve several sites as a water source. Toilets are vault-style. Fee charged for extra vehicle parking.

If you wish to use a stove, grill, or have a campfire it is recommended, but not required, that you get a campfire permit. This FREE Permit can be obtained at preventwildfiresca.org or at any ranger station. Do not burn plastic or metal. Please leave the area in as good (or better) condition than you found it.
The Interagency Senior and Interagency Access Passes are honored and provide a 50 percent discount on camping fees in the campground. Pass number must be written on fee envelope or Pass must be shown to Host. The Interagency Annual and Volunteer passes do not provide any discounts on camping. Passes are not accepted for double sites.
Camp in designated sites only. The number of people allowed in a single campsite is six. The maximum length of stay in any campground is 14 days. Max length for RV/Trailers - 36ft
Overnight Use:
Single Site: $25/night.
Group Site: $50/night.
Interagency Senior/Access Recreation Passes provide a 50% discount to Single Campsites ONLY.

Kennedy Meadows Resort and Pack Station operate Baker Campground and charge the following fees:
- $25.00 for a single-family site
- $50.00 for a double-family site
Kennedy Meadows Resort operates this campground under a special use permit administered by the Forest Service. The fees paid by concessionaires finance the refurbishment of facilities in the campgrounds they operate.
