Sand Flat Campground

Located six miles from the junction of Clark Fork Road and Highway 108. It is situated along the Clark Fork River with a total of 68 first-come first-serve sites.

 

Reservations

General Information

If you wish to use a stove, grill, or have a campfire it is recommended, but not required, that you get a campfire permit.  This FREE Permit can be obtained at preventwildfiresca.org or at any ranger station. Do not burn plastic or metal. Please leave the area in as good (or better) condition than you found it.


The Interagency Senior and Interagency Access Passes are honored and provide a 50% discount on camping fees in the campground.  Pass number must be written on fee envelope or Pass must be shown to Host.  The Interagency Annual and Volunteer passes do not provide any discounts on camping. Passes are not accepted for double sites.

Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort operates Sand Flat Campground.

Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort operates this campground under a special use permit administered by the Forest Service. The fees paid by concessionaires finance the refurbishment of facilities in the campgrounds they operate.

At the entrance to Clark Fork Campground, The Clark Fork Dump Station is seasonally open seven (7) days a week with a fee of $10.00.
