Camping & Cabins

Although the Fremont-Winema National Forest offers a wide range of overnight camping experiences, most campgrounds tend to be rustic with minimal amenities.  The sites range from full hookup campsites with dozens of places to park your RV, to old Forest Service Guard Stations for rent, to small campgrounds where car camping, tents and overhead campers are more common.

Some general rules of use and restrictions  apply to visitor using developed recreation sites and general forest dispersed areas. These include regulations like forest-wide camping stay limits; use of camp fires, firearms, and fireworks; paying fees, and controlling pets. Please call your local Forest Service Office for more information.
