Gold Basin Campground
Gold Basin Campground sits near the banks of the South Fork of the Stillaguamish River, close to hiking trails and nearby access to Wilderness. The campground is the largest on the Mountain Loop Highway and offers the most developed and accessible camping experience in the area.
Old-growth forests of cedar, fir and hemlock line the wide, gently-flowing Stillaguamish River and tower over trails winding through moss-covered rocks. There is a large, open field suitable for sports or group activities.
Across the road from the campground is Gold Basin Mill Pond Interpretive Site and Trail. The 0.5 mile boardwalk is barrier free and accessible to wheelchairs. Benches are provided on the viewing platforms for the more contemplative visitor to sit awhile.

The campground is located along the Stillaguamish River. The campground has 38 campsites, 16 of which are available on a first-come-first serve basis. The remaining sites are available via reservation on recreation.gov.

All developed site regulations apply. Dogs must be on leash, campfires in developed rings only, quiet hours between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. Fireworks are prohibited. Stay limit is 14 days.

From Granite Falls, WA head east on the Mountain Loop Hwy for about 13 miles and turn left on Forest Road 4018 into the campground area.
