Lower Sandy Campground

Lower Sandy is a beautiful  first-come, first-serve campground on the shore of Baker Lake. It is accessed by a two-mile access road that is open seasonally April 16 - November 30. It has 11 campsites (one of which is a double).   Fee station on site for cash payment May 30-September 14. $27/night. Extra vehicle $12/night. Bring exact change, no credit cards accepted.  14 day maximum stay limit. No host onsite, but will be checked regularly by hosts from nearby campgrounds.

Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. Check in: 2:00 p.m.; Check-out: 12:00 p.m.

  • Camping: 50% discount for single site camping with any of these passes: Interagency Senior, Interagency Access, Golden Age, or Golden Access pass.
  • Day use: No Day Use at Lower Sandy Campground

Directions

Located about 34 miles northeast of Sedro-Wooley. From Sedro-Wooley, travel east on State Route 20 for about 17 miles. Turn left onto Baker Lake Road and travel for another 16 miles, then turn left onto Forest Road 1122.
