Pratt Lake Trailhead

This trailhead accesses an extensive network of trails via Pratt Lake Trail 1007, which in turn accesses Granite Mountain Trail 1016, Mount Defiance Trail 1009 and Alpine Lakes Wilderness. Melakwa Lake Trail 1010 and Kaleetan Lake Trail 1011 may be accessed either from this trailhead or Denny Creek Trailhead. 

General Information

Wilderness regulations apply within Alpine Lakes Wilderness.

Recreation Passes honored for day use fee payment: Digital Passes, Northwest Forest Pass, and Interagency Recreation Passes. Washington State Discover Pass is not valid at US Fee Sites.  

Day Use:
$5 per vehicle per day
$30 per annual

Day use fee payment options: Use the on-site Automated Fee Machine, Scan & Pay on-site or display a valid Recreation Pass.  

*Suggestion: Download the recreation.gov app before your trip to have the ability to scan & pay digitally on-site.

Directions

From North Bend, Washington, travel east on I-90 to exit 47. Turn north from the exit ramp and take a left at the "T" in the road. Drive 0.25 mile until the end of the road where the trailhead is located. Pratt Lake Trail leaves from the northwest side of the lot.
