Upper Clack Thin
The Mt. Hood National Forest proposes a commercial thinning project in plantations ranging in age from 42 to 56 years old. The project is located in the Clackamas River Ranger District, Mt. Hood National Forest, Oregon. The purpose of this project is to thin second-growth plantations to achieve multiple objectives. The proposed action is to thin and harvest wood fiber from approximately 1094 acres of matrix land, late-successional reserves and riparian reserves.
