From Dufur, OR - Follow Dufur Valley Road until you reach the forest boundary in which the road turns into Forest Road (FR) 44. Continue on FR 44 and turn right onto FR 4430. Go 0.3 miles to Eightmile Campground Road (Forest Road 4430-150). Park in the day use area. (Total distance: 17.5 miles)
From Hood River, OR - Take Highway 35 South approximately 25 miles and turn left (shortly past milepost 71) onto Forest Road (FR) 44. Go 10 miles to FR 4430. Turn left onto FR 4430 and go 0.3 miles to Eightmile Campground (FR 4430-150). Park in the day use area.
From Portland, OR - Drive 41 miles on Highway 26 East and merge onto Highway 25 North. Continue approximately 13 miles on Highway 35 and then turn right onto Forest Road (FR) 44. Go 10 miles to FR 4430. Turn left onto FR 4430 and go 0.3 miles to Eightmile Campground (FR 4430-150). Park in the day use area.
