Rainbow Campground

Rainbow Campground provides ample access to the Wild and Scenic Clackamas River. The campground offers a great location to enjoy peace and quiet in the beautiful mountains of northern Oregon. Visitors enjoy fishing, biking and rafting.

Rainbow Day Use & Trailhead is located within the campground, providing access to the Riverside Trail (connecting to Riverside Campground).

Rainbow Campground was repaired in the years following the Riverside Fire. Most of its trees will take years to grow back, but many of its amenities are newly replaced. There's not much shade yet, so a pop-up canopy might be handy.

This campground & adjacent trail are  within the burn scar of the Riverside Fire. Be careful in burned areasWatch out for burned trees, eroded slopes, mudslides, missing trails, or possible flash floods.
