  • Occupation Use Restriction in Middle Fork Ranger District

    The following acts are prohibited in the areas described in this order within the administrative boundaries of the Willamette National Forest.

    Prohibitions:
    1. Being in the area after sundown to before sunrise.
    2. Parking in violation of posted instructions.

Forest Order

Pursuant to 16 USC §551, 36 CFR § 261.58 (g), and 36 CFR §261.58 (L), the following acts are prohibited in the areas described in this order within the administrative boundaries of the Willamette National Forest. 

PROHIBITIONS: 

  1. Being in the area after sundown to before sunrise. §36 CFR § 261.58 (L)
  2. Parking in violation of posted instructions. §36 CFR § 261.58 (g) 

CLOSURE AREA: 

  • All closures are contained within Township 18S., Range 2E., Sections 28, 29, 30, 31, and 32; and Township 21S., Range 3E., Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 15, 18, 22, 21; and Township 20S., Range 2E., Sections 20; and Township 21S., Range 4E., Sections 35 and 36; and Township 19S., Range 2E., Sections 19, 20, 29, and 30 in Lane County.
  • See attached maps Exhibits A-G. 

CLOSURE AREA Continued: 

• Fall Creek Road (Forest Service Road (FSR) 18) 

  • See attached map, (Exhibit A).
  • 3.2 miles starting from west FS boundary just before MP 10 to the Fall Creek NRT trail head 0.5 miles past Clark Creek Organizational Camp just past MP 13.
  • The affected area is 500 feet on both sides of the road from the center line of FSR 1800. 

• North Fork Road (Forest Service Road (FSR) 19) 

  • See attached map, (Exhibit B).
  • One mile starting from FS boundary.
  • The affected area is 500 feet on both sides of the road from the center line of FSR 1900. 

• Willamette Highway (Highway 58)

  • See attached map, (Exhibit B).
  • From junction of Westfir-Oakridge Road (FS Road 19) 0.25 miles past MP 33 for 0.8 miles to the FS boundary immediately west of the town of Oakridge.
  • The affected area is 500 feet on both sides of the road from the center line of Highway 58. 

• Salmon Creek Road (Forest Service Road (FSR) 24) 

  • See attached map, (Exhibit C).
  • From the junction by FSR 24 and Fish Hatchery Road for 1.3 miles East on FSR 24.
  • The affected area is 500 feet on both sides of the road from the center line of FSR 24. 

• La Duke or South Bank Road (Forest Service Road (FSR) 5852) 

  • See attached map, (Exhibit D).
  • Effective 0.75 miles Northwest from the FSR 21 junction to 1.25 miles on FSR 5852.
  • The affected area is 500 feet on both sides of the road from the center line of FSR 5852. 

• Kokane Way 

  • See attached map, (Exhibit D).
  • From Salt Creek/Middle Fork Willamette River confluence to Kokane Way. 

• Winberry Creek FS Road 1802-150

  • See attached map, (Exhibit E).
  • 2.0 miles from FSR 1802-150 junction for 1 mile.
  • The affected area is 500 feet on both sides of the road from the center line of FSR 1802- 150. 

• Shady Gap Road (FS Road 5875) 

  • See attached map, (Exhibit F).
  • From Highway 58 for 850’ to the bridge over Salt Creek.
  • The affected area is 500 feet on both sides of the road from the center line of FSR 5875. 

• Hampton Boat Launch (off Highway 58) 

  • See attached map, (Exhibit G).
  • Previously the Hampton Campground, the whole developed site is included.
