Throughout the year, the Kisatchie National Forest hosts multiple family-friendly events, such as the fishing derbies (Saturdays in May and June), Kent House Bug & Reptile Day (usually first Saturday in June), and Fullerton Sawmill Day (usually third Saturday in October).
