Timberline Trail: Main ATV Trailhead

This trailhead offers access to the loop trail system. Facilities include a paved parking lot, loading/unloading ramp, vault restroom, hardened rustic campsites and informational signing.

Anyone who rides a motorized vehicle on the ANF designated motorized trail system is required to purchase an ATV/Trail permit.

  • You must provide proof of registration and insurance to purchase a permit.

Directions

From Marienville

  • Travel northeast on PA-66/PA-948 for 15.7 miles
  • Where PA-66 and PA-948 split, stay on PA-948.
  • Travel on PA-948 for 1 mile.
  • Turn right onto the road for the parking area and drive .2 miles.
