2011 Gypsy Moth Slow-the-Spread
The project involves aerial application of a gypsy moth mating disruptant (known as pheromones) in one treatment block (8450 acres). The objective is to saturate the area with enough pheromone to confuse male gypsy moths and prevent them reproducing.
