Location Summary:
The Pennington South project area (Figure 1) is in Beltrami, Cass, and Itasca Counties and is generally bound to the south by Highway 2 spanning north to the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe (LLBO) reservation boundary, it extends from the western boundary of the Chippewa National Forest (CPF) east to Lake Winnibigoshish.
