Partnerships
The Chippewa National Forest works in partnership with public agencies, private organizations, tribes, watershed groups, volunteer organizations, nonprofit organizations, schools, and individuals to manage forest resources. Partnerships between the Chippewa National Forest and other entities come in the form of agreements, grants, contracts, and volunteer commitments for specific projects or tasks needed to keep our forest healthy and active.
Working together with these partners allows the Chippewa to make positive changes across boundaries and on a larger scale.

Since 1983, the Forest Service Plant-A-Tree program has allowed for individual donations to be used for reforestation projects across the national forest system. Your gift of trees helps to reforest public lands that will be enjoyed by generations to come. You can select to have a tree planted to honor, memorialize, or celebrate a loved one.
