Location Summary:
The Rock Solid project area is located on the Chippewa National Forest, with a primary focus on the Walker and Deer River Ranger Districts. Portions of the project area fall within the boundaries of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe (LLBO) Reservation. Of the eight proposed gravel pits, three are located within areas that include lands inside the LLBO Reservation boundary.
