Horseback Riding Recreation Events - Mio, Harrisville and Tawas Ranger Districts
W. Gastfield, Shore to Shore Trail Rides LTD, and the Michigan Trail Riders Association have each made application to hold recreation events for multiple dates, May-September for the next 5 years on the Michigan Shore to Shore Horseback Riding Trail.

The Michigan Shore to Shore Horseback Riding Trail can be accessed from trail camps known as Luzerne, McKinley, South Branch and River Road Trail Camps. Follow the signs south from Luzerne on CR490.
