Plot Radius

Because plots are measured on the horizontal plane, the plot radius has to be adjusted based on the slope. The average slope of the plot is the average of the slope uphill and the slope downhill. Determine the plot's radius by using the slope correction table, based on the predetermined plot size. Use this plot radius for the full plot. Do not compensate by changing the radius or by raising and lowering the tape when going around the plot. Such adjustments are included in the table. Do not guess the plot's size. Small errors in radius measurements affect plot size significantly.
