Spanning over 3 million acres in Idaho, with small portions in Wyoming and Utah, the Caribou-Targhee National Forest offers a wealth of options for nature lovers. Across these districts, the forest provides 56 developed campgrounds and 10 rental cabins, ensuring a variety of choices for camping under the stars or enjoying a rustic cabin retreat amidst stunning landscapes, from rugged mountains to serene rivers. Exploring these district resources will help you pinpoint the perfect spot for your next getaway in this expansive national forest.

Check with www.recreation.gov for specific facilities available at each campground that are under the reservation system. All non-reservation campground facilities are all first come/first served.
