There are numerous camping and lodging opportunities on the Mt Hood National Forest from primitive areas to sites that are more developed with accessible features. Visit https://www.recreation.gov/ for reservations.
Camping is limited to 14 consecutive days on Mt. Hood National Forest.
Many campgrounds in the Clackamas River Ranger District were heavily damaged in the 2020 Riverside Fire and will not open in 2021. Learn more about the fire's impacts on the forest.
Reminder: Do not bring firewood from outside of the Northwest (Oregon, Washington, or Idaho) because of the threat of insect pests being transportated inside the wood.
