The Siuslaw National Forest has close to 40 developed campgrounds. Most campgrounds on the forest can be reserved in advance. Reserve online at Recreation.gov or call toll free 1-877-444-6777 (international 518-885-3639). The Oregon coast has a busy tourist season from May through October and campgrounds often fill quickly so plan ahead and have a backup plan if your desired campground is full. All campgrounds and sand camping sites within the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, reaching from Coos Bay to Florence, require an electronic reservation and payment.

Campsites typically include a table, a fire grate, and a tent or trailer space. Electric hookups and showers are not generally available, although most campgrounds have water and vault or flush toilets.

Most overnight sites require a user fee. Camping is limited to no more than 14 days in any 30 day consecutive period in developed campgrounds; and limited to no more than 14 days in any 60 day consecutive period in undeveloped or dispersed areas of the forest where camping is allowed. While the Forest Service administers all campground facilities, private businesses provide daily maintenance on most sites. View the latest Forest Orders for all camping restrictions and prohibitions on the Siuslaw National Forest.  Additional camping information is listed in the following sections:
