HRM: Donate leave to a coworker in need
The holiday season is a great time of year to consider using the Voluntary Leave Transfer Program to donate annual leave to a coworker in need. The VLTP program is designed to ease economic hardship for employees experiencing eligible personal or family medical emergencies and who have run out of their available paid leave.
As a reminder, for most employees, annual leave over 240 hours is considered “Use or Lose,” and you lose it after Dec. 31, 2021, so why not donate leave to those in need?
