WASHINGTON, DC—On Feb. 9, Deputy Chief Chris French, National Forest System, testified before the Senate Committee on Energy & Natural Resources National Parks Subcommittee on implementation of the Great American Outdoors Act.

In addition to French, the Department of the Interior also testified on their implementation of the GAOA. The Forest Service and DOI both explained their project selection process, implementation of the FY 2021 funded projects, and the impact the National Parks and Public Land Legacy Restoration Fund, established by the GAOA, has on public lands infrastructure.
