Forest Service - Creating a Culture of Respect Training Sessions - Spring 2022
Catharsis Productions will deliver anti-harassment and culture change training sessions starting March 22nd. The bi-weekly training objective is to demonstrate how we can create a culture of respect throughout the agency. The training is interactive, engaging and focused on proactively identifying root causes that lead to toxic work environments and developing skills to disrupt and prevent these actions. All employees are strongly encouraged to participate.
The training, Creating a Culture of Respect, examines the Forest Service’s culture to determine which elements align with our values, helping us be good stewards of the land and people and which factors get in the way of this goal. The program uses research, theory, interaction and group dialogue to guide participants through real-life scenarios to understand how to reduce harm and increase respect in the workplace. In short, this training aims to help participants identify obstacles, use their power to make effective changes and redefine the rules for ending harassment and discrimination to make a positive difference in the workplace.
