HRM: Early dismissal May 9

May 9, 2022

Banner: HRM Update.

To acknowledge Public Service Recognition Week, Secretary Vilsack has authorized a four-hour early dismissal for employees on Monday, May 9, 2022.

What You Need to Do

  1. Seek approval to participate from your supervisor. If you are unable to participate because your supervisor directed you to continue working, you may use the four hours on a different day no later than June 4, 2022.
  2. If Monday is not a work day for you, or if you’re already on pre-approved leave, work with your supervisor to use the four hours on a different day no later than June 4, 2022.
  3. Use Paycheck8 code TC-66 (other leave) and note the early release in the remarks section. You may only use the four hours during your normal work schedule (tour of duty). You are not required to use all four hours at one time, but you must use them by June 4, 2022.
