USDA: Launching Feds Feed Families June 27

June 24, 2022

Colleagues,

Next Monday, June 27, marks the official launch of Feds Feed Families 2022, a voluntary food drive which encourages employees from all federal agencies to give in-kind contributions—food, services and time—to food banks and pantries of their choice. This year’s theme is Fighting Hunger—Giving Hope. USDA is honored to lead the campaign for all federal employees, and we thank you for your support.

The 2022 campaign focuses on summer giving from June 27-Sept. 30, as well as encouraging federal employees to give year-round. So far in 2022, nearly 1.5 million pounds of food has been donated through the campaign.

When: Launch event: Monday, June 27, 10 a.m. EDT

What: Kim Peyser, deputy assistant secretary for Administration, will be the keynote speaker for the launch event. We hope you can join us June 27 from 10 to 10:50 a.m. EDT.

Where

The 2022 Feds Feed Families campaign focuses on online donations and virtual food drives while also providing guidance for in-person donations and events as appropriate. Federal employees can go to the website, the FFF Hub, to find out how and where to donate online or in-person at food banks and food pantries, how to organize virtual food drives, how to find field or warehouse gleaning opportunities and how to share donation success stories.

Thank you for your interest in Feds Feed Families.

Sincerely,

National Chair,
