HRM: Submit monetary achievement awards by Sept. 2

Monetary achievement awards for fiscal year 2022 must be submitted to Human Resources Management by Sept. 2, 2022. This will allow time to process awards to be paid with fiscal year 2022 funds by the end of the fiscal year.

Due to thousands of awards received at this time of year, monetary awards submitted after this date will be returned to the unit to resubmit in the next fiscal year to make sure appropriate funds are available at the time the award processes.

What You Need to Do

  • Submit monetary and time-off awards in eTracker by Sept. 2, 2022.
  • Supervisors should also follow local award protocols and guidance before submitting in eTracker.
  • Submit awards throughout the year. Do not wait until the end of the fiscal year to recognize employees for their achievements. Performance-based awards were eliminated with Departmental Regulation 4040-430.

How to Submit Monetary Achievement Awards

  • Complete blocks 1-14 on form AD-287-2, including well supported justification.
  • Start an eTracker request for a Monetary Achievement Award and make sure to attach a complete AD-287-2 to the request.
  • Make sure the proper level authorizing official approves the eTracker request.
  • Signatures are not required on the attached AD-287-2, as long as the appropriate official approves the electronic eTracker request.
