Erik Fey accepted the position of forest supervisor of the Fremont-Winema National Forest in the Pacific Northwest Region (Region 6) in Lakeview, Oregon. Fey currently serves as chief of Operations for the Defense Health Agency.

Bethany Ihle accepted the position of forest supervisor of the Dakota Prairie Grasslands in the Northern Region (Region 1) in Bismarck, North Dakota. Ihle currently serves as deputy forest supervisor on the Santa Fe National Forest, Southwestern Region (Region 3).

Leonard “Brad” Job accepted the position of director of Engineering for the regional office in the Pacific Southwest Region (Region 5) in Vallejo, California. Job currently serves as an engineering staff officer on the Tongass National Forest in the Alaska Region (Region 10).

Simon Kihia will serve as acting director for Landscape Restoration & Ecosystem Services Research in Research & Development, Washington Office, effective Dec. 18, 2022. Kihia is currently the research program manager for Goods, Services and Values Program at the Pacific Northwest Research Station. He replaces Kenli Kim, who will return to her permanent position as national program leader for Social Science.

Johanna Kovarik accepted the position of forest supervisor of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest in the Pacific Northwest Region (Region 6) in Vancouver, Washington. Kovarik currently serves as a district ranger on the Paulina Ranger District on the Ochoco National Forest and Crooked River National Grassland, Pacific Northwest Region.

Robert Lever accepted the position of forest supervisor of the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests in the Southwestern Region (Region 3) in Springerville, Arizona. Lever currently serves as a district ranger for the Springerville Ranger District.

Tony Martinez accepted the position of deputy forest supervisor of the Angeles National Forest in the Pacific Southwest Region (Region 5) in Arcadia, California. Martinez currently serves as a district ranger for the Los Padres National Forest, Pacific Southwest Region.

Aaron Mayville accepted the position of forest supervisor of the Coconino National Forest in the Southwestern Region (Region 3) in Flagstaff, Arizona. Mayville currently serves as the deputy forest supervisor for the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests; Pawnee National Grassland in the Rocky Mountain Region (Region 2).

Heidi McRoberts accepted the position of deputy forest supervisor of the Kootenai National Forest in the Northern Region (Region 1) in Libby, Montana. McRoberts currently serves as deputy forest supervisor on the Umatilla National Forest in the Pacific Northwest Region (Region 6).

Donaciano Montoya accepted the position of director of Financial Reporting and Reconciliation for the Chief Financial Officer in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Montoya currently serves as the lead accountant for the Financial Reporting Branch in Albuquerque.

David Neely accepted the position of forest supervisor of the San Juan National Forest in the Rocky Mountain Region (Region 2) in Durango, Colorado. Neely currently serves as the deputy director for Ecosystem Management Coordination, National Forest System, in the Washington Office.

Shaun Sanchez accepted the position of forest supervisor of the Santa Fe National Forest in the Southwestern Region (Region 3) in Sante Fe, New Mexico. Sanchez currently serves as the deputy chief for the National Wildlife Refuge System, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

Joseph Stout accepted the position of forest supervisor of the Eldorado National Forest in the Pacific Southwest Region (Region 5) in Placerville, California. Stout currently serves as associate state director for the Bureau of Land Management in Sacramento, California.
