HRM: eSafety updated portal is now live

The updated eSafety portal is now live. The portal supports improving the safety of the Forest Service and offers a stronger experience and ease of use.
What you need to know:
The eSafety tool is responsible for tracking and reporting Safety and Occupational Health (SOH) incidents, accidents, and for Worker’s Compensation (WC) case management. Additionally, it produces Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of Labor (DOL) compliance reporting and allows the Forest Service to make data driven decisions in an effort to improve the safety of our collective workplace. The eSafety tool also validates employee information and streamlines the process of filing injury claims with DOL’s ECOMP system. The update to the eSafety tool will provide a more user friendly platform to all (eAuthenticated) Employees, Supervisors, Safety and Occupational Health Specialists, Worker’s Compensation Liaison Case Managers, and a select amount of Fleet Managers.
What you need to do:
The eSafety tool can be accessed by employees with eAuthentication privileges through the ConnectHR portal by clicking on the eSafety link found under the My Links area on the left side of the portal. Starting today, users will find a stronger experience focusing on ease of use. Additionally, users can log into the eSafety tool finding documentation that gives instructions and tips on functionality.
Remember: Employees, volunteers, and administratively determined (AD) employees that do not have access to eAuthentication should reach out to a supervisor to help assist in creating a case to record their injury/illness and all employees (eAuthenticated/non eAuthenticated) have the ability to report workplace hazards.
