Wood Innovations Program Grants
Sustainably sourcing wood that can be turned into products for consumers helps to make our forests healthier and our communities more prosperous. The Forest Service invests in local wood economies through wood innovations grant programs that support innovation, expand wood energy markets, and promote wood as a sustainable building material.

Wood Innovations Grants
The Wood Innovations Grant Program is investing in proposals that expand traditional wood utilization projects, promote using wood as a construction material in commercial, institutional and multifamily buildings, and expand wood energy markets. Healthy forests depend on a healthy forest products economy, and these investments support local economies while directly contributing to improving forest health and lowering wildfire risks to communities.
