HRM: Juneteenth federal holiday
This year, the Juneteenth National Independence Federal Holiday falls on a Monday. Additionally, Secretary Vilsack authorized employees to use two hours of administrative leave between June 16th and July 15th.
Administrative Leave
- You must obtain supervisor approval to use this administrative leave.
- You don’t need to use all two hours on the same day, but you must use it between June 16th and July 15th. You can combine it with other leave.
- You may only use this leave during your normal scheduled tour of duty.
- Employees in a continuous period of non-pay status may not be placed in a pay status solely to receive the two hours of administrative leave.
- Code your timesheet using Other Leave, “Transaction Code (TC) 66” when using the administrative leave, and please note it in the remarks section of Paycheck8.
