Jason Brandt accepted the position of deputy forest supervisor for the Malheur National Forest in the Pacific Northwest Region (R6). Brandt currently serves as the supervisory contract specialist, incident procurement operations for Procurement and Property Services in Business Operations.

Laura Conway accepted the position of natural resource specialist—fire chemicals for State, Private, and Tribal Forestry—Fire & Aviation Management. Conway currently serves as a natural resource specialist with the National Technology & Development Program in the National Forest System.

Brad Kinder has accepted the position of deputy director for Ecosystem Management Coordination in the National Forest System. Kinder currently serves as an assistant director in the National Partnership Office in NFS.

Kevin Larkin accepted the position of deputy forest supervisor for the Deschutes National Forest, Pacific Northwest Region (R6). Larkin currently serves as the district ranger on the forest.

Michael McFarlane accepted the position of National Fire Chemical program manager for State, Private, and Tribal Forestry—Fire & Aviation Management. McFarlane currently serves as a procurement analyst, Incident Procurement Operations for Procurement & Property Services in Business Operations.

Michelle Paduani accepted the position of NEPA program specialist for Ecosystem Management Coordination in the National Forest System. Paduani currently serves as the deputy forest supervisor on the Coconino National Forest in the Southwestern Region (R3).

Dr. Thomas “Tom” Schuler accepted the position of acting director for Sustainable Forest Management Research, Research & Development, effective July 31, 2023. Schuler is currently the Silviculture & Forest Ecology Research national program leader in Washington, D.C.

Joshua White accepted the position of forest supervisor for the Colville National Forest, Pacific Northwest Region (R6). White currently serves as the deputy forest supervisor on the Colville National Forest in the Pacific Northwest Region (R6).
