WASHINGTON, DC—Have you ever encountered a barrier or ceiling when trying to move up within the Forest Service? If so, we want to hear from you.

We are the Ceilings to Advancement Team in this year’s Senior Leader Program, and we are seeking to discover actual, perceived and/or artificial barriers and ceilings to career advancement exclusively within the Forest Service.

After sharing our personal experiences, events/actions we have witnessed and stories within our group, we have landed on six primary categories we would like to investigate further.
