Samantha Carroll accepted the position of assistant director of State, Private, and Tribal Forestry with the Alaska (R10) and Pacific Northwest (R6) regions. Carroll currently serves as the regional manager for the state of Alaska's Southcentral Regional Land Office.

Susan Catton accepted the position of Planning, Stewardship, and Litigation director for the Eastern Region (R9). Catton currently serves as the public services staff officer, Superior National Forest, Eastern Region.

Shawn M. Cochran accepted the position of forest supervisor for the Black Hills National Forest in the Rocky Mountain Region (R2). Cochran currently serves as forest supervisor on the Monongahela National Forest in the Eastern Region (R9).

Leslie Courtright accepted the position of program analyst, Research & Development, in Pacific Southwest Region (R5). Courtright currently serves as a program specialist in the WEPO/ Director, Org Development & Culture.

Romella El Kharzazi accepted the position of assistant director for the National Civil Rights Office. El Kharzazi currently serves as the social science research analyst with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Robert (Nate) Hesse accepted the position of branch chief, equipment and Logistics, for Washington Office Fire and Aviation Management located in Missoula, Montana, Northern Region (R1). Hesse currently serves as a supervisory program manager for the National Technology and Development Program.

Dr. John Rothlisberger will serve as the acting director for Landscape Restoration and Ecosystem Services Research in Washington Office Research & Development for 120 days effective Nov. 12. He is currently the deputy area budget coordinator for Research & Development. Rothlisberger comes behind Dr. Kenneth Zwick, who will be returning to his permanent position as assistant director for Wood Fiber Research at the Forest Products Laboratory in Madison, Wisconsin.

Aaron Sics has accepted the position of supervisory human resources specialist for the HRM unit of the Forest Service. Sics currently serves as the supervisory human resources specialist in the FPAC Business Center, Office of the COO, Business Services, Human Resources Division AG99.

Jamie Tripp accepted the position of branch chief—fire Use for Washington Office Fire and Aviation Management located in Dillon, Montana, Northern Region (R1). Tripp currently serves as the prescribed fire program manager for Washington Office Fire and Aviation.
