As 2023 draws to a close, I wish you and yours a joyous holiday season, whether you celebrate Diwali, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, or other holidays.

This was a year of historic achievements made possible by working with partners and communities. I am grateful for all you do every day to make a difference for the American people and the natural resources we steward.

I am thankful for the investments we have made externally and internally—from historic hazardous fuels treatments in Wildfire Crisis Strategy and other landscapes to implementation of our Tribal and equity action plans to efforts to rebuild and retain our workforce.

Most of all, I am thankful and grateful for all of you and the work you do.
