Award General Terms and Conditions

Recipients and any subrecipients of USDA Forest Service Federal Financial Assistance must comply with the applicable Forest Service general terms and conditions provided below. These terms and conditions are in addition to the assurances and certifications made as part of the respective award and are reflected on the official assistance award document.

The totality of any Federal Financial Assistance award between the Forest Service and the recipient is comprised of several components, including the Award Letter for the respective instrument below, the project narrative (Project Description/Scope of Work/Program of Work or similarly named document that captures the recipient’s project performance responsibilities). Both the Award Letter and the grant or agreement document contain general and unique terms and conditions, based on the instrument type. These instruments are available below.
