HRM: New option for permanent fire hire
Starting today, March 13, Human Resources Management has added a new option to the etracker electronic system to streamline the process to hire permanent fire positions. When accessing etracker to enter a hire action, select the fill action, and in the drop-down menu a new option named “Appointment Single Vacancy—Fire Permanent” has been added. This option is for any permanent fire position regardless of pay grade level. This new option will route the etracker hiring action directly to the HRM National Fire and Aviation Staffing Team.
A user guide will be added to the HRM Hiring & Employment website in the near future.
What You Need to Do
When filling a permanent fire position: Log into ConnectHR to access etracker, select “New Request,” then select the “Fill” option and in the drop-down menu, select “Appointment Single Vacancy—Fire Permanent” option.
