We invite you to join Secretary Vilsack at the 74th Annual Secretary Honor Awards ceremony in the Thomas Jefferson Auditorium, South Building, at 2:00 p.m. EST this Friday, Jan. 10, 2025. 

The Secretary Honor Awards are the highest level of recognition, and the most prestigious employee awards, presented by the United States Department of Agriculture. These awards recognize noteworthy accomplishments that significantly contribute to the advancement of USDA's strategic goals, mission, objectives and overall customer service and management excellence. To attend virtually:  please join us via the YouTube livestream.

To attend in person (limited seating):

  • The South Building is located at 1400 Independence Avenue, SW, Washington, D.C. 20250, Between 12th & 14th Street (Smithsonian Metro Exit)

  • Please enter the South Building via Wing 1 on the Independence Avenue side of the building 

  • You will be required to scan your USDA ID/PIV Card to enter the building

  • The Jefferson Auditorium is located between wings 5 and wing 6

An American Sign Language interpreter will be available during the live event. An on-demand recording will be posted a week after the event on OneUSDA for those unable to attend.
