Webinar series: Science for productive forests and rangelands
The Forest Service Rocky Mountain Research Station is pleased to announce the first webinar series in our 2026 lineup: Science for Productive Forests and Rangelands. These webinars will kick off with webinar sessions that dive into science about productive rangelands, forest measurements, regeneration after wildfire and forest products. Webinar presentations will be geared toward land managers, but all are welcome to attend and learn about the latest science out of Forest Service Research and Development. Expect three short presentations followed by Q&A each day.
The webinars are aligned with our back-to-basics agency priorities, designed to assist land managers at all levels across the country to center on the work we know matters most: keeping people safe, protecting communities from wildfire, actively managing our forests for health and productivity, supporting communities recovering after disasters, expanding access to the outdoors, cutting unnecessary red tape and strengthening the partnerships that bolster our ability to deliver our mission critical work.
View the webinar agenda on the Rocky Mountain Research Station website for registration links and additional details. All webinars are on Wednesdays from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. MT. You will need to register for each webinar separately. Webinars will be recorded and posted on our website.
Additionally, each webinar is eligible for 0.50 continuing education credits through the Society of American Foresters and 0.50-1.0 credits through the Society for Range Management (see registration pages for details).
