Whits Lake

Whits Lake Trail, #75 is a short hike through fir trees and an open area at the lower lake then climbs gaining elevation to an upper lake with lily pads and a great osprey area.  Roundtrip is two miles.

Directions

From West Yellowstone travel 8 miles north on Hwy 191 then left on 287 for two miles.  Turn right on Whits Lake Road #971.  Follow the road to the end to Whits Lake Trailhead about 2.5 miles.
