Forest Order

Pursuant to 36 CFR 261.50 (a), the following acts are prohibited within the Vasquez Wilderness, Arapaho National Forest until further notice: 1. Camping within 100 feet of any lake, stream or Forest Development Trail. 36 CFR 261.58 (e) 2. Building, maintaining, attending, or using a campfire within 100 feetof any lake, stream or Forest Development Trail. 36 CFR 261.52 (a). 3. To possess (except for watering or through travel) hobbled, picketed or loose herd livestock within 100 feet of any lake, stream, or Forest Development Trail. 36 CFR 261.58 (s). 4. To allow to graze any riding or pack animal within 100 feet of any lake, stream or Forest Development Trail. 36 CFR 261.57 (e). 5. Entering or being in the area with groups larger than a combination of 12 persons and/or livestock. 36 CFR 261.58 (f). 6. Storing equipment, personal property, or supplies within the wilderness for more than 14 days within a 30 day period, including time the area was used for camping. 36 CFR 261.57 (f). 7. Possessing or using a wagon, cart, or other vehicle. 36 CFR 261.57 (h). 8. Possessing a dog or other animal which is not under control to preventharassment or disturbance of wildlife, people or their property. 36 CFR 261.58 (s). 

Pursuant to 36 CFR 261.50 (e), the following persons are exempt from the order: 1. Persons with a permit specifically authorizing the otherwise prohibited act or omission. Order No. 10-00-09 Page 2 of 2 2. Any Federal, State, or local officer, or member of an organized rescue or firefighting force in the performance of an official duty.
