The Allenspark Water and Sanitation District maintains a dam, water diversion, and water transmission pipeline on Forest land. The Forest Service will review the expired authorization and work towards issuance of a new permit for this site. The PALS # for this project is 68049.

The Forest Service is considering amending the Forest Plan to provide direction on recreational sport shooting activities on the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests. PALS # for this project is 46910.

This project is a continuation/expansion upon the previous Barker Gravity Pipeline Special Use Permit project, whose decision memo was signed on July 1, 2025. The purpose of this project is to review the City of Boulder’s proposal for burial of an additional section of historic rock walls.

Proposed treatment actions will include manual and mechanical vegetation thinning and the application of prescribed fire. All treatments will occur within 1,000 feet of an adjacent constructed linear feature (i.e. roads and trails). PALS # for this project is 64845.

The Forest Service proposes a suite of management tools to improve and maintain a resilient landscape, facilitate fire adapted communities, and improve wildfire response. PALS # for this project is 62591.

The purpose of this project is to restore and re-hydrate wet meadows, improve water quality by slowing and spreading flow, increase floodplain habitat connectivity, promote channel resiliency, encourage beaver colonization to new areas, and improve wildlife habitat.

This project will amend the current Highway 6 Seven Sisters Remote Avalanche Control Systems (RACS) special use permit to allow for the replacement of the current Gazex system, which is no longer economically viable, and replace it with an explosive based system.

The proposed action may include, but is not limited to, trailhead redesign, regrading roads and parking lots, reconstructing existing cabin structures, and replacing toilets. The PALS # for this project is 67943.

The Fool Creek Diversion Structure requires maintenance to ensure the integrity of the structure and enable the conveyance of water.

The Forest Service proposes to remove the physical threat from falling trees to people and property along open roads and trails, water diversion ditches and reservoirs, and in designated recreation sites and administrative sites. PALS # is 24618.

The Forest Service proposes to reduce hazardous fuels, enhance aspen and restore meadows and reduce the risk of negative effects of wildfire to the watershed in the area east of Nederland, CO and west of Gross Reservoir. PALS # for this project is 47358.

The purpose of this project is to reduce wildfire risk and increase wildfire safety along priority evacuation corridors in Gilpin County through hand treatments, to prepare in the event of a wildfire incident and evacuation orders. PALS # for this project is 68674.

This project proposes to realign a portion of Green Ridge Road (NFSR 177), whose present alignment is not sustainable and is creating an unacceptable level of resource damage to sensitive riparian areas and infrastructure damage to the road itself. The PALS # was 68687.

The purpose is to develop the historic cabin at the Hessie Trailhead into a recreation site that can be used by partners and Visitor Information Services (VIS) to engage the public. The PALS # for this project is 67945.

The Forest Service proposes to allow the City of Greeley to take proactive steps to update and repair the diversion structure and place a concrete pad to measure flow on its Hourglass ditch. The PALS # for this project is 68562.

Identify the transportation system necessary to meet Forest Plan objectives. PALS # for this project is 3564.

The Vasquez Creek Diversion Structure requires maintenance to ensure the integrity of the structure and enable the conveyance of water.

Remove Lift 5, replace magic carpet surface conveyer at Loveland Ski Area

The City of Greeley is required by the Colorado State Engineer’s Office to take proactive steps to repair or replace the Milton Seaman Reservoir (MSR) outlet gates, which have been in continuous service since the reservoir was constructed in the 1940s.

The purpose of this project is to provide a Federal Land Policy and Management Act (FLPMA) authorization to a private road association for access to a private road that is not on the Motor Vehicle Use Map (MVUM). PALS Project # was 67949.

This project will amend the current SNOTEL special use permit to add one data collection site on the summit of Mount Blue Sky with two to three smaller (than the standard SNOTEL) structures for data continuity purposes to both maintain and bolster the hydro-meteorologic data's period of record.

The purpose of this project is to establish a self-sustaining population of greenback cutthroat trout, an Endangered Species Act listed “threatened” species, in the North Lone Pine Creek watershed in alignment with the species recovery plan.

The purpose of this project is to conduct mineral exploration work to determine viability for a future gravel pit.

The U.S. Forest Service, Canyon Lakes Ranger District proposes forest vegetation management through commercial timber harvesting to support the local wood industry economy and increase structural stage and age class diversity. PALS # is 68976.

This project proposes to place large woody debris (LWD) structures or similar low-tech process-based restoration (LTPBR) structure elements along the stream corridors both perennial, intermittent, and ephemeral of several streams and tributaries in north Larimer County, Colorado.

The Forest Service proposes authoring a suite of management tools to improve forest resiliency and mitigate risk to communities, wildlife, watersheds and other values at risk from large-scale wildfires and other disturbances. PALS # for this project is 61372.

The purpose is to construct three trail bridges to maintain trails for safe access by mitigating trail erosion and address maintenance issues that negatively impact watershed health. The PALS # for this project is 68681.

The majority of the watershed contributing to this site was burned during the Cameron Peak Fire. Project proposes adding log structures to the stream to capture sediment to improve water quality, riverscape resiliency, and reconnect the floodplain. The PALS # for this project was 67762.

The project involves the re-grading of 400-600 linear feet of existing Clear Creek County secondary non maintained road called Van Eden Road (FSR 733.1) to improve safety.

This project aims to bring four (4) additional segments of overhead broadband fiber located within an existing right of way into compliance by adding them to Visionary Communication LLC’s existing Special Use Authorization BOU756.

The purpose of this project is to expand year-round parking, improve traffic flow, provide a better hub for accessing trails, and add to increase public health and safety by addressing sanitation and resource concerns.

The Forest Service is proposing to exchange one parcel of National Forest System land containing approx. 5.5 acres to TMII Development, LLC in exchange for TMII Development, LLC conveying one parcel of land approx. 50.23 acres to the United States.

Summer trail construction, tree thinning. PALS # for this project is 65938.

Replacing and adding lifts, constructing two buildings, removing trees, grading terrain, installing utilities, adding snowmaking, new ski trails, access roads, widening trails, and replacing Vasquez Ridge restaurant. PALS # for this project is 66200.

The purpose of this project is to support the continued maintenance and operation of Xcel Energy’s electrical distribution infrastructure on the Forest. Pole replacement work will help keep the system operational and help to mitigate fire risk.
