Bosman-Big John's Flat Trailhead

Overview

This trailhead provides access to the Paiute 01 ATV trail. About a half mile to the north, Skyline-Big John Flat Trailhead provides access to the Skyline National Recreation Trail as well as the Piute 01 ATV trail. About a mile to the south, Big John's Flat dispersed camping area provides access to Trailhead #068. Approximately 1 mile west of the dispersed camping area you will find yourself at an intersection of three different trails. To the south is trail #064. To the north you can take trail #172 (Shelley Baldy Creek Trail). If you stay on this trail heading north, you will end in the South Fork of North Creek (#062). If you stay on the #058 trail it takes you west into a vast system of horse and foot trails.

Pets must be leashed at all times within this recreation area. This policy is in place to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all visitors and to protect wildlife.
Clean up dog waste and dispose of it properly.
Keep dogs from chasing, harassing, and disturbing wildlife or other visitors.
When on a trail, yield to other hikers, horses, and other trail users by stepping off the trail and keeping control of your dog.

Directions

The Bosman / Big John's Flat Trailhead is located 20.5 miles east of Beaver, Utah. From Beaver travel east on UT-153 road for approximately 16.2 miles. Turn left onto the FR123 (Sunset Drive) for 0.3 miles. Keep left on FR123 and travel another 4 miles to the Trailhead.
