Lake Stream Trailhead

Overview
Trailhead #219. This trailhead accesses the Skyline National Recreation Trail #225 as well as the Cottonwood Trail #219, Bears Hole #072, and Ten Mile Train #073. The Cottonwood Canyon Trail will take you north for approximately 4.5 miles and ends at the Alunite Trailhead. This trail can also give you access to the Pocket Loop Trail system which consists of trails #216, #224, and Trail #072.

General Information

  • OHVs are not allowed on Forest Road #642
  • Horse and foot trail only

  • Pets must be leashed at all times within this recreation area. This policy is in place to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all visitors and to protect wildlife.
  • Clean up dog waste and dispose of it properly.
  • Keep dogs from chasing, harassing, and disturbing wildlife or other visitors.
  • When on a trail, yield to other hikers, horses, and other trail users by stepping off the trail and keeping control of your dog.

Directions

The Lake Stream Trailhead is located approximately 23.8 miles east of Beaver, Utah. From Beaver, Utah take UT-153 east for about 21 miles (to Puffer Lake). Turn left onto FR129 for 1.4 miles. Turn left on FR642 for 1.4 miles to the trailhead.
