Scott National Wild & Scenic River
The Scott River was designated a Scenic River within the National Wild & Scenic River System in 1981.
The Scott River provides Class 4 - 5 raft and kayak runs during the spring runoff season. Swimming and gold prospecting become the popular summer activities. Some fishing occurs in the fall. The Scott River Road runs through the river canyon offering access to the river at various points.

To reach Canyon Creek River Access, turn off Scott River Road on Canyon Creek Road. Cross the bridge and find the access area at .2 mile.
Located on the Wild and Scenic Scott River this access is a graded road to a cobble river bar.
Nice day use area with a small beach along the Scott River. Popular for swimming, water play and fishing.
Access to the Scott River here is a rough, steep road to an old mining claim. Boats must be carried a short distance to the water.
Entry to the Scott River here is a graded gravel ramp to the water's edge. There is limited parking. Schuler Gulch rapids is located downstream. Be sure to scout ahead!
