California Interagency Hotshots

Duty + Respect + Integrity

Hotshots are elite firefighters trained to fight wildland fires and respond to other emergencies nationwide. The Lassen Hotshots were established 1974 and proud to be a part of the California Hotshot community.

Regional Fire Hire

Lassen Hotshots on the H-1 Lightening caused Fire 2023. Firefighters moving through Lava Rock on the Hat Creek Ranger District, checking for hot spots and putting them out.

Get Fired Up

A highly skilled, hardworking cast of thousands is needed to battle wildland fires. The USDA Forest Service, Pacific Southwest Region Fire and Aviation Management program requires talented people working safely together to be successful.
