Forest Service Specialists come together throughout the year, teaching programs on Land Stewardship. Students learn about bugs, local wildlife, archaeological sites and local history, tree mortality, hydrology, the importance of leave no trace principles, and more. Students get to meet Smokey Bear, and learn about fire prevention, campfire safety, and the importance of Stop, Drop, and Roll.
